Coca-Cola İçecek (CCI) successfully maintained its strength in 2024 despite a challenging business environment shaped by macroeconomic challenges, global shifts, and rapidly changing business dynamics. Karim Yahi, CEO of CCI stated, “In 2024, we continued to create sustainable value for all our stakeholders by focusing on what we can control. As we believe in the opportunities ahead, we continue to invest ahead of demand, and inaugurated our fourth plant in Uzbekistan, third plant in Kazakhstan, and entered Bangladesh.”

March 4, 2025, Istanbul CCI released its financial results for 2024. Focusing on long-term growth strategies through new investments in challenging market conditions, the company made a total investment of 12.5 billion TL in 2024. CCI's net sales revenue decreased by 5.6% compared to the previous year after applying inflation accounting, while the 7.3% year-over-year increase in sales volume in the last quarter balanced the performance for the rest of the year. With inflation accounting, net sales revenue in Türkiye decreased by 7.5% and without TAS 29 adjustments, net sales revenue increased by 48.6%.

Last year, the company's consolidated sales volume was down by 2.2% compared to prior year, reaching 1.5 billion unit cases. In 2024, volume growth in Türkiye was 0.1% compared to 2023. CCI’s disciplined daily execution, right pricing to ensure our products remain affordable to consumers across our markets and quality mix management delivered promising 18.4% sales volume growth in the fourth quarter.

CEO of CCI, Karim Yahi commented on the financial results, stating, “In 2024, we faced a challenging operating environment. Our resilience was once again proven thanks to the field expertise of our teams, our high-quality portfolio, and the robustness of our operating model. By maintaining world-class daily execution, we continued to create value for all our stakeholders and advance in our long-term strategic goals.”

Yahi stated, “We maintained our commitment to investing ahead of demand, with a total investment of 12.5 billion TL as of 2024. Approximately one-fourth of this investment was made in our operations in Türkiye.”

CCI will inaugurate two new plants in 2025
In 2024, CCI entered the Bangladesh market by acquiring Coca-Cola Bangladesh Beverages Limited, expanding its beverage portfolio to a population of 600 million. Additionally, CCI strengthened its presence along the historic Silk Road by launching its fourth plant in Uzbekistan and third plant in Kazakhstan. In line with its principle of investing ahead of demand and its belief in the long-term potential of its markets, the company plans to inaugurate two new factories in 2025, one in Azerbaijan, Ismayilli and another in Baghdad, Iraq.

CCI remains optimistic for 2025
Sharing his expectations for 2025, CEO of CCI, Karim Yahi stated: “We look ahead and we remain optimistic yet vigilant. While economic and geopolitical challenges persist, we are confident in our ability to navigate them with agility, discipline, and a relentless focus on growth. Our strategy is clear, our fundamentals are strong, and our vision for the future is bright. In 2025, we will stay committed to our long-term focus on quality growth.
